Difference between microprocessor and microcontrollers

Hello, in this video we are going to discuss the differences  between the microprocessor and the micro-controllers. 

1. The microprocessor is a CPU on a chip whereas a micro-controller is a system on a chip.
2. Personnel computer is general application of the microprocessor whereas micro-controller find its use in control functions
3. Microprocessor based design need lot of support peripheral ICs whereas the micro-controller based design need no support chips. 
4. Generally Micro-controller based system is designed on a motherboard as need lot of support ICs, micro-controller based design are on a small board
5. Microprocessor is a general purpose device whereas micro-controller is a specific purpose device
6. When we buy a microprocessor based system we look for speed, memory and their configuration whereas we only talk about the function i can perform.
